In a game that was crucial for the Patriots to stay healthy, word came out early this morning that Tom Brady suffered a sprained ankle in Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins. It was evident he was hurt during the game after he took a shot to the lower knee from Ndamakung Suh, a notoriously rough defensive lineman for the Dolphins. After the game you could see Brady hobbling around in the postgame interview, a worrisome sight for any Patriots game.

Sprained ankles can range from not being too bad of an injury, to a more serious and lingering issue. For instance, Devin McCourty sprained his ankle a few weeks ago and missed only a game, while Sebastian Volmer sprained his ankle and the injury cart was immediately brought out for him. The good news for us is that Vollmer and Brady should be back for the Divisional game on January 16th. It will be interesting to see how limited Brady's mobility will be after the latest Pats injury.
